The Circle of Life is the theme behind this classic tale of good vs. evil. Young Simba is tricked into thinking he killed his father, and is banished from Pride Rock by his power-hungry Uncle Scar. Simba meets Timon and Pumbaa along the way, who teach him to adopt their motto behind life: Hakunah Matata, no worries!
Simba grows up in this laid back tropical paradise, until he is visited by his old friend Nala, who convinces him that he has to challenge Scar because he has taken over the Pride Lands. With a pep talk from Rafiki, the wise old monkey, and encouragement from a ghostly vision of his father, Simba makes the long journey back to challenge his Uncle.
Scar tries to use the accusation against Simba, and the two begin to fight. Right when it seems Scar has won, he admits to Simba that it was Scar who had killed his father. This gives Simba the strength he needs to finish off his Uncle, and to finally take his birthright as King of the Pride Lands.
